Trump trying to get into heaven

As the McDonald's ad used to say, “I’m loving it”.

Really? You think having national guard posing on the Mall is Heaven?
Yes, it is a good thing. Their very presence acts as a deterrent against crime. This has been a long time coming.

Since when is there crime on the national mall? Are you suggesting that tourists are criminals. I assume he has the national guard on the mall because tourists know the mall. They can say "Oh I've been there!" and "What a shame that the national guard is needed there."

It isn't needed there - or anywhere in DC.

No. Satan has been remodeling to make room for everyone in this regime.

Wishing hell on people makes you a garbage human. Do better.

Most of us aren’t wishing hell on him; we’d love to see him try to be a better person, confess his sins, show remorse, ask for forgiveness. He’d be a better president, as well as a better person, that way. But he never does. He doesn’t regret anything. He doubles down. And even HE doesn’t think he has a good chance of getting into heaven, so forgive us for not sugarcoating what we observe.

The great thing is, you can wish hell on him all you want but it's out of your hands, so wish away. I would be more concerned if I had the actual power to put him in hell. That's not up to us so.... I can wish all I want to without guilt or shame or fear of the consequences.

Trump is an atheist, so he's not going to heaven, even if there were one.

Literally nothing that he has done or said indicates that he’s an atheist.

Of course not. He's playing religious people. I've never met an atheist who didn't (reluctantly) think Trump was one too.

Not trolling. Atheists don't like to think Trump is an atheist because they don't identify with him at all. Some atheists think all atheists are better than religious people because they figured out that there is no God.

I have never met an atheist who thought he was one.

Nothing he has ever said or done indicates that he's an atheist. You're trolling.

Otherwise, we can be anything. And Trump does not believe in God. Probably never did.

Times like this I wish there were a hell, so Trump could go to it -- along with a bunch of so-called christians who voted for him knowing what a monster he was.

But his words and deeds don’t indicate that he is a Christian either. I can believe he’s agnostic.

I really just don’t think he’s that thoughtful. Maybe as he nears death he will think more about this but he doesn’t strike me as a man with many philosophical inclinations. He thinks about what others think about him, and he thinks about how to win whatever he sees as the pending contest. He has no intellectual curiosity—he’s not the kind of guy who likes to muse about the whys of the world. It’s one of the reasons he’s also so anti science. He never really asks why something is the way it is so he has interest in neither religion nor science and therefore is neither religious nor atheist nor even agnostic. Any of those would suggest he’s put the time in to think about these questions, which he hasn’t.

You don't have to be thoughtful to be an agnostic or an atheist, though many of us are. You just have to not believe. Some people never believe. It's just a trait - like being double jointed or having a good singing voice. Some people figure it out as they go.

No one will own him -- except the idiots who voted for them and some of them are starting to see the light.

His words have indicated that he's a christian. He may not be a "good" christian, but that is how he identifies.

You can believe whatever you want about him, but ZERO things that he has said or done indicate that he's an atheist.

Also, just because you voted for Trump, doesn't mean you're a bad person. Could be that you really bought his story. People can be very clever when they're trying to get something -- like the presidency of the US.

You're basing that on your feelings, not facts.

I really DGAF what he thinks, but he has said on multiple occasions that he is a Christian and/or believes in god/heaven.

Nothing that he has done or said - literally nothing - has indicated that he doesn't believe in a god.

Trump is the anti-Christ. I know you are pretending to be a Christian, just like Trump, and actually know nothing about Christianity or the Bible, but the only thing "heavenly" about Trump is that he IS mentioned in the Bible:

Matthew 24:22 Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.

I know someone who is a Deep South, white middle aged blue collar evangelical preacher — hits all the tick marks for maga but he strongly believes that Trump is the antichrist or has been sanctioned by the devil and that’s the only reason so many of his friends and neighbors are blind to trumps Godless attitude and behavior. He believes it is a sign of the end of days. I have to say that his explanation makes about as much sense as anything else explaining the rise of Trump and his popularity among Christians….

Most of the people I know who are atheists and agnostics are pretty thoughtful. They’ve considered it and they just have concluded that they can’t wrap their head around any particular religion making sense. The people who don’t like to think about this stuff usually nominally identify as whatever their parents were but don’t really practice it much or think about it much. I think that’s where Trump is.

I agree - and I'm an atheist - the good kind, like most of us (and most people in general). I hope your friend the preacher finally convinces other christians of the truth about Trump. If they rise up against him, he's finished.

That's where I was for a long time, but I'm not a psychopath, like Trump. I think he figured out that supposedly "born-again" Christians were very gullible, so decided to take advantage of them - because he's an evil person, who happens to be an atheist.
