Nah hell no. You don't know DC. Stick to Iowa or wherever you're at.

+1 Approximately half the country's voters do not want the progressive policies that Washington liberals promote. Since DC is the location of the core of our federal govt, the status quo will remain.

So they’re happy at the huge expense of sending troops and police into a city where they don’t live??

Yes, ma'am, they do. It's our country's capital and a federal district. It "belongs" to all of us.

the federally-owned parts =\= the city

When Americans think of Washington DC, they think of the area. They want it to be safe for anyone who visits, lives, or works there.

Well, rest easy. It is. Or it was until so many armed people showed up.

That has nothing to do with the current controversy.

Brianne Nadeau is almost certainly not running again, and the rumor is Charles Allen isn’t either. Frumin almost certainly is a one-termer. All know that their brand of leadership — though none were in any way any sort of “leader” —is now extremely unpopular. In other words, DC’s POC are sick of privileged white, carpetbagging mediocrities telling them how they should feel.
