How often do you visit if your child is a plane ride away?

This making me cry- my DS is in his room 10 feet down the hall, but we’ll be driving him half way across the country to start college this weekend.

My goal (if everything goes well) is to see him every 6-8 weeks. He’ll come for breaks or I will go there.
