My son’s class has two Jamesons, and every soccer team they play seems to have at least one. James is a really nice name. Though I’m not sure why it’s plural. You are one Jame, not many. |

I haven't heard James since early 2000s! As others have mentioned keep it simple with spelling.

James has no connotations at all which in my mind is a good thing.
Felix would make me immediately think "pretentious hipster." See also Atticus, Soren, Jude. |

| There are a lot of kids named James but so what? Pick the name you both love best. It’s actually great that you and your spouse both love the same name; often couples have to compromise bc the name one parent loves, the other parent doesn’t. In this case, you clearly need to go with the one you both love! |
