I have never been a Bowser fan but think she’s handling this just about as good as any DC mayor could. She’s walking a tightrope and walking it well. She has my support.

I’m also not surprised that the truth about her absence is that she’ll only be gone like 36 hours and will be retrieving her kid. I would have been very surprised given how she’s been conducting herself if she just flew off for a week or two for vacation in the middle of all of this. Cut the woman a break.

She has had so many years to get crime in DC under control. Homeless encampments and trash everywhere. Groups of teens shooting at each other routinely. The wharf now has a curfew for kids and it’s still not safe. My employee lives in navy yard and is moving due to all the breaking and thefts. Those are on the rise.

Nah, no break for her as she watched the city decay under her watch.
