Hugs, OP. I’m in recovery from panic/anxiety and agoraphobia.
I’ll very kindly suggest a specific therapy that was extremely helpful to me in the midst of multiple panic triggers- EMDR therapy. Read about it but helpful to know that it’s had great success with combat zone soldiers dealing with PTSD (also another thing I was diagnosed with) and generally is well-tolerated with few side effects. Just suggesting this before panic or fear of having a panic attack subsumes your daily life. It’s not hypnosis and you typically have some standard CBT sessions to determine triggers and relevant events. |
The loss of horizon really freaked me out. I felt like my car was going to launch into sky! If I ever had to drive over this bridge again - I would hire someone to do the driving. |
They aren't quite as bad as the Bay Bridge, but they aren't great. |
