So much better! And much better fireworks, too. But NYC’s 4th is always head and shoulders above DC’s.

The rivers provide fantastic settings for the displays. It's really magical to experience it up close. We're in the city for the holiday because DS has a sports tournament in NJ, but the show last night was well worth missing a weekend at the beach.
