I think the show was great!

Beach boys were good, although I’m not sure how many of the original members are still going. It looked like a bunch of younger dudes playing and singing.

I love A Capitol Fourth and thought this year's concert was nice. I love that there is no commercialization. I love that it showcases a variety of different styles of music and performances. I love that everyone seems happy and proud to be there.

We were on the Mall watching the fireworks with our backs to the Capitol and there were a bunch of explosions near the concert that freaked us all out. Was there a repeated cannon blast or something in the concert?

The NYC production was so much better.
