I miss Joe Biden

The big whirlwinds of whining forgotten, much of the so-called big issues of our day becoming small footnotes of insignificance.

Hug a family member, do something nice for someone. I don’t think I have ever heard a family member reminiscing about how somebody voted centuries ago.

This is a viewpoint of privilege. A close friend still talks about how her grandfather voted for hitler and how that decision reverberates in her family. The fight for independence in the country my grandparents immigrated looms large in my own family. These events don’t end up as small footnotes.

So glad he is gone.
Glad Trump is here to clean up his messes.

List, please.

Gladly. There are a lot, but here are my top 6.

1. Afghanistan withdrawal. A total disaster. Not only did he leave the taliban with billions worth of weapons, but he changed the lives of 13 families forever and brought tens of thousands of migrants here with little vetting.
2. His deplorable immigration policies. He allowed, if not welcomed, over 10 million illegal aliens to our country, again, with little or no vetting. And, he lost track of tens of thousands of UAM that this administration is trying to track down today. This one issue has had major economic, humanitarian, and national security repercussions for years.
3. Record high inflation. It is finally starting to level out. Record prices. Gas, food, goods - everything. All due to his spending and policies.
4. Foreign policy. He emboldened Iran by not enforcing sanctions. As a result, they became more wealthy and were able to fund their proxies. It is questionable whether Oct. 7 would have occurred in Israel if Iran hadn't become so wealthy during Biden's presidency. And, Russia saw Biden's inept handling of Afghanistan and knew he could invade Ukraine with no repercussions.
5. Record federal regulations. He issued a ton of needless, wasteful regulations that cost taxpayers more than 1.5 trillion $$. Fortunately, many of these can be, and have been undone by the current administration, but to ignore his thirst for power by the federal government cannot be ignored.
6. Loss of trust in federal government. His weaponization of some of our most reputable agencies has caused a total lack of trust in this agencies. This will take years to repair.

Well clearly you got your presidents mixed up, Trump has been the master in loss of trust of the federal government. There is misinformation and lack of guidance from the CDC. The FAA is in shambles. Ice is arresting American citizens. Consumer protection has been blown up. Could go on and on and on.

but your post is spot on, considering Trump thinks he can blame Biden for all of his grievous errors.

There was an unelected King running the U.S.

- worse still, an anonymous, unelected, King.

Interesting. What messes has Trump cleaned up in his first six months? Do you happen to see any messes he’s created?

You MAGAs really are delusional.

MAGA: So, we didn’t know who was president during Biden’s term, but at least we know Stephen Miller is president during Trump’s term.

All of them are awful. Both administrations are/were a circus. “Biden” was better at hiding it, up until a point.

The only difference between Dems and Republicans is sanctimony.

Things did seem more peaceful under Biden, and I do believe we would have a perception of more “peace” under Harris but really we’d still be hurtling towards hell in a hand basket either way. Trump might be getting us there faster.

Ten years? You're an optimist. Captain Craven is screaming for "unconditional" surrender of Iran. He has made a threat to murder Iranian leaders! Trump is a fool and the likelihood of another 9-11 is 100% so don't be surprised when it happens.

Also, just remember that plans for 9-11 were hatched, facilitated, and carried out in Saudi Arabia by Saudi Arabians--trump's new best friend!

The average Iranian may want to get rid of its Theocratic government but not with unconditional surrender to trump. Iran's neighboring countries would fall in.line to help them. Generalissimo Fool would use a nuclear weapon and BOOM the entire world is enveloped in a mushroom shape cloud. Don't make any long range plans.
