That's a simple solution for a fast divorce.

Don't wear sandals if one isn't at the beach?
Don't wear blue jeans if one isn't a cowboy?
Don't wear makeup if one isn't a model?
etc.?

The hat etiquette rules are a century outdated also.

It's odd if it's more than one person. Reminds me of Norman Bates beloved smother... uh er mother.

Imagine what their husbands must be like to be beaten down that much and controlled by their wives in such manners? "Yes dear" in a Droopy voice.
