They shouldn’t have voted for crazies like AOC orr Gavin then, who don’t support common sense proposals. |
I don't live in California or New York and know few Dems who do. Who they elect locally is their business. AOC is one of the few on Congress who isn't afraid to speak truth to the power and money controlling our two parties. She doesn't have a chance at career advancement due to speaking truth to power and money in politics. If you don't respect her and you don't want to hear more of what she has to say, you are either part of the elite class controlling our two major parties or you are a complete and utter idiot who doesn't know what the hell is going on in politics. |
No. You don’t get to claim voters are “common sense” when they elect radicals like AOC. She is in Congress so it’s all our business. If you support AOC then you are many things but common sense oriented or moderate, you are not. Own it. |
She's a radical because she is brave enough to call out her fellow Congress men and women for their insider trading tactics. She's a radical because she refuses to sell out to the RNC and DNC mega donors. I don't agree with many of her policy positions but I know damn well sure we need more AOCs in Congress; not less. Gullible idiots like you are why the Trumps and Bidens of the world are able to become the most powerful people in the world. You can't get out of your own way. |
Bannon's in Congress??? |
Any time I have seen AOC speaking in congressional committees she is smart, articulate, civil, and shows eminent common sense. |
Jefferson was usually broke anyway, and died in debt. He wasn't in it for the money. |
Actually, for the non-wealthy 174k is a pretty good number. Our real problem is the wealthy people who do NOT run for Congress but who buy our political system. |
Yes, very civil and obviously bright but most importantly, she isn't a sold out puppet to mega donors like 95% of our so called GOP and Dem "leaders" in Congress. Integrity matters most. Policy positions are important but less so. |
I am PP that put out the list but not PP you are responding to. I actually like AOC for reasons you list, and hope she is involved in some way. But, your response of basically you either agree with me or “you are a complete and utter idiot” is really off-putting, and generally stifles any useful exchange of ideas afterwards. You’re not in 6th grade, and this isn’t the school playground. |
Bet Bannon was trying to get Fetterman to take money out of the bank and covert it to bitcoin. |
I disagree. 174k doesn’t cut it in the DMV (or any other urban area) if you have a family, which most of these people have. The goal is to attract the best and brightest. |
You called AOC a "crazy" and that set me off because it's fine to disagree with her policy positions but there are hundreds of true crazies in leadership positions and she isn't one of them. This being said; appreciate your response and I apologize for the 6th grade rhetoric. |
To be clear, I didn’t call her anything, I am not that PP. I just put out the list, but commented on none of them. |
I see that now in looking back at the chain. My apologies. AOC getting lumped in with Newsom and other sleeze ball politicians pisses me off. Too many people have no idea what our greatest long term threat in politics and government is. Money in politics is our greatest long term threat and nothing else is close. Our two major political parties are shells of their former selves from the standpoint of integrity. I'm not fully aligned with Bernie and AOC's policy positions but I am fully aligned with their courage to call out the bull shit that has made our Federal Government far less functional and far less for the people and by the people. It obviously isn't Trump or Sanders and it may not be AOC but some politician is come along one day soon with this very much so needed populist movement and they'll reshape our country for the better. |
