There are as many Dems who have condemned violent riots since 2020 than there are Republicans that have condemned Trump for pardoning criminals who forcefully breached security at our nations Capitol Building. Considering who will be the sitting POTUS in 2028, any of those people on the list will be able to win easily in 2028. It doesn't mean those are the best folks for the job but we saw how Trump was soundly defeated by a 77 year old unlikable life long mediocre politician in 2020. Kermit the Frog could be the victorious Dem nominee in 2028.
