NYTimes : As Gaza Siege Grinds on, Gazan Children Go Hungry and Die

"Not since Nazi Germany, have we witnessed such a sanctioned and systematic denial of survival necessities to an entire civilian population. The denial of food, water, and medicine is being carried out with precision, and without consequence."

Starvation was a central strategy in the Nazi genocide against the Jews. They had long been aware of the power that lay in controlling the food.

It’s still sad to see. And the only two reasons I can see that our taxpayer dollars go to support this are:
1) $$ in politics (AiPAC)
2) Israel has some intel or military that our politicians think is necessary for our defense.
3) Israel has intel on politicians they don’t want getting out
4) we are scared that without us there Israel will just blow up the Palestinians.

It’s mostly #2. We have a lot of working relationships with Israel from R&D to business to intelligence. Burning those bridges to help Gazans doesn’t make much sense from a realpolitik perspective. There just isn’t much upside, and Hamas will still hate us anyway.

Even the Arab governments in the region don’t really want to help. They’ve been burned before, and Hamas is too influenced by Iran.

1, 2, and 3 are true.

4 I would categorize as false because without us and other European countries, Israel wouldn't have the weapons to do so

Israel make some of their own weapons, and they would turn to Russia or China if the West abandoned them. The Israelis are resourceful.

There is no benefit to pushing Israel into the arms of Russia or China.

Interesting that Europe backed Ukraine against Russia, and has been talking big about resisting Trump, but isn't lifting a finger to defend Palestine against Trump and Netanyahu

There is no benefit to turning the US into Russia or China, but where we are.

Or are we still protesting Biden and Biden alone?

Trump is being protested constantly by half the country.

The other half supports the genocide.

Fortunately for many of these folks it’s not death just a transition to eternal paradise, so you have nothing to fret over OP.

Do I guess you think Hitler was right with his final solution because after all, those unfortunates only transitioned to eternal paradise. Maybe the world should have just allowed him to finish the task. /s

Israel is working a genocide on the people of Gaza. The fact that their grandfathers suffered a genocide themselves gives them no excuse. The fact that 100 of their own died in a terrorist act is no excuse. Israel is systematically killing innocent children with the goal of wiping this race of people from the face of the Earth. They have become what they hate.

If the rabid Semites insist on equating Zionism with Judaism, it will lead to the destruction of them both. Despite whatever corrupt anti-American crap their spies and agents are doing here.

Exactly. Talking about the suffering of innocent civilians including women and children is very triggering for them, so they desperately try to redirect the conversation to remove themselves from any culpability.

Suffering of women and children like those kidnapped and murdered on 10/7?

And the 50 Palestinian women and children indiscriminately murdered by the IDF for every 1 women or child killed on 10/7 …

What is up with this ROI racket? Zionists get 50x or better ROI on corrupt lobbying dollars in the U.S., and they also get 50x on body count?

DP. Why did Hamas attack Israeli civilians on 10/7? What was the justification for the kidnapping, murder and r*ape?

The real question was why was Israeli settlers and IDF allowed to steal, kidnap, rape, and murder thousands of Palestinians for the past forty plus years without impunity.

I blame the Saudi and UAE regimes. If they refused to do business with the USA, the USA would reign Israel in. The Saudies are just as complicit in this genocide being committed by Israel.

Ukraine is in Europe’s backyard. It’s more pressing and immediate. Poland borders Ukraine. Russia takes Ukraine and Poland is next.

They are regimes of the US like almost every Arab country. Look what happens to any leader that ends up challenging the US and the west.

King Faisal of Saudia Arabia was pro-Palestinian and called Zionism evil. Obviously, he had to be assassinated and was dealt with accordingly.

"That we sentence 1.2 million Jews to die of hunger should be noted only marginally." -
Hans Frank, Nazi governor in occupied Poland, diary entry

So much for "never again"

The parallels between what is going on now and the Nazi state are uncanny.

I hope one day when this is done, they build a Gaza Holocaust museum next to the Jewish one so they we can see that we never learned our lesson.
