My kid did crew and club swim for two seasons. He said swim was definitely tougher, but crew was more time consuming (all that time spent breaking down and setting up the boats)

Approximately 50% of Navy SEALs have a wrestling background. This is due to the physical and mental discipline wrestling cultivates, which is highly valued in the rigorous SEAL training.

I am not buying the wrestling thing. I just can’t see it.

swim team
water polo
basketball
baseball
soccer
pop football
lacrosse
tennis

You forgot rowing. The winter training on rowing machines is next level. The wrestlers probably still win but rowing is no joke.

Former rower here and it was more intense than most people can imagine. But my kid wrestled and I think wrestling beats it.

It is also a lot of standing around. Water polo is a contact sport while swimming.

I played both. Football is way harder. No one is running full speed and hitting you in water polo.

No, they're slashing you with their toenails under the water.

Get slashed by a toe nail or get hit by a linebacker running at a full sprint? Hmmm

Wrestling is hard but rounds last two minutes. There are plenty of bad athletes we that succeed in wrestling because you don't need strength, speed, or really anything else at the youth level.

Pretty sure they are defining youth sports as lasting through high school.

Also, they aren’t talking about wrestlers that suck and get pinned in 30 seconds at every match.

This has to be one of the dumber things I've ever read on DCUM...and that is saying something.

Baseball requires the most skills mastery. None of the other sports really require skill.

Lacrosse is a joke
