Ummm. HIPPA to start. But this administration doesn’t actually care about following laws.

I’ve come off of SSRIs. And had a close friend who did. Both for postpartum issues. I was able to come off. It took 6 months of very gradual tapering (to get off a low dose) but was fine. My friend did a similar gradual tapering and crashed and burned. You do not just stop these meds cold turkey. It’s really dangerous.

And BTW, I’m a Fed. If you ever applied for SSI/SSDI, Medicare or Medicaid, Elon already has your medical records. Let that sink in.

I mean yeah, if you are going to claim you are medically unable to work, you are going to need to provide records.

That's not the point - the point is that the Trump administration allowed a private citizen to take the records for purposes other then determining disability and disability benefits.

All of this is scary! I take a tricyclic antidepressant for migraine management. Before going on it, I was in bed for a week out of every month with a migraine and now I only get a bad one every couple of months. I would likely not be able to hold down a job if I were taken off of it.
