Trump colludes with foreign dictator to keep innocent man in jail, solely to prove that Trump is above the law.

Trump should be held in contempt of SCOTUS and imprisoned and impeached.

Ok, so when the SCOTUS tells the President of El Salvador to send him back, and he says no, then what?

This whole thread is stupid.

Due process. It is in the constitution. Everyone gets due process in this country. Even the most blatant criminals. Even non-citizens. You and I don’t get to choose who gets their day in court. The constitution is quite clear, and you know this. So do you just not agree with the constitution? Do you not think we need to follow it any longer?

DP. He would get Due Process if he were in the U.S. But he's not.

Some administrative errors cannot be fixed if a sovereign country is involved.

They tell Trump, not the El Sal President. They also declare that sending people to El Sal is cruel and unusual punishment and against the law and a shut down further efforts to send people there.

How many other people were mistakenly deported?

Kilmar’s wife is a US citizen so she can (for now) make a fuss without fear of deportation. What about the people whose wives aren’t US citizens?

One thing I know for certain: As a Marylander, I’d much rather have Kilmar as my neighbor than f$;7ing bone spurs Trump.

Why is that?

Everyone knows presidents have no control or power over immigration or who / how many cross our southern border. Not Trump; not Biden.

Only a bill in Congress can have any impact at all in this situation. Why are democrats in Congress being so obstructionist?

WTF? This is now the Democrat’s fault?!?!

Yes, the entire immigration disaster is in fact the democrat’s fault.

The guy's underlying guilt or innocence is beside the point - there was a court order preventing his removal to El Salvador. The Trump Administration admits it made a mistake when deporting him. They should follow the law. If they want to bring him back and deport him lawfully, they should have at it.

Every American should shudder when they read this. (I assume all the troll posts are AI or from Russian troll farms.)
The Trump administration is defying the Supreme Court. We are no longer a nation of laws when the Supreme Court has lost its power. The system of checks and balances so carefully created by our Founders is gone, and every American, including all you MAGAS, should be worried about it. Dictators don't care about anyone but themselves, and they certainly don't care about the price of eggs or gas or all the bills working people have to pay every month. Admit it, MAGAs, you've been duped, and now you (and all of us) are paying for your gullibility.

Shut the F up. Trump has said the guy is innocent and has done nothing wrong. You defend the gestapo.

Innocent eh? Done nothing wrong you say? This guy keeps getting better and better. We’ve found our new saint Floyd…

People don't have to be saints to be afforded human rights. Due process is a foundational aspect of this country and its constitution. Deciding we don't care about it now is a complete reversal of all of US history, and is an authoritarian move. No question about it.

It’s almost like you guys never heard of Andrew Jackson. The judiciary is meant to be weak. You just like all powerful activist judges. No judge should have the power to just grant permanent residence because he feels sorry for someone.

The gangs were defeated years ago, this guy and his ilk should have returned at that time. But they didn’t, because they never were actually running away from gangs in the first place.

Because Trump replaced all the military heads with sycophants and loyalists.

+1 in other words, to be clear, those against due process, you would have supported Hitler years ago. For the record, you do not have to be advocating for concentration camps or mass extermination to still seem like an unethical Nazi with similar morals, or lack thereof.

So as long as he can get a plane into international airspace before anyone can get the courts to act, whoever is inside will be El Salvador’s problem.
