Prove me I’m wrong: DC parents are the WORST

Super tiresome thread.

Maybe next you can discuss which states have the worst drivers or which cities have the hottest women or where the nicest people in the world live.

I do think that DC REGION parents are pretty entitled and intense. And, especially right now when many of them are in terrible borderline abusive work environments, a la Trump and Musk, I really wouldn't expect anything different for a while.

But they are also smart and produce kids with amazing verbal skills.

As a DC parent myself, I do my best to be reasonable and not demand more than is appropriate. I hope other parents will also notice their anxious and intense and analytical tendencies and try and tone it down.
