They would never admit to that. But somehow the process does consistently produce a class that is balanced enough to avoid scrutiny.

What school do you think is application and ‘balanced’ by ward?

I would say that all the application schools have avoided scrutiny so therefore the council, sboe, etc must consider them balanced "enough". I'm not sure what would be enough for me, personally, since I don't have the data anyway.

They've avoided scrutiny because the council doesn't care about balance, not because Ward 7 and 8 residents are getting an advantage your snowflake is being denied.

Can someone remind when results are usually posted?

It varies, but the last two years I think it was around 10pm the night before

Someone will post on here the minute they go up [although there has been less chatter this year. I guess we all have 7th and 8th graders now from the height of DCUM]

The good old days of the lottery threads. Ranking schools, feedback, gosh there were so many school ranking threads.

MySchoolDc won’t let me log in. Do they enable log in once the results are posted?

Yes, the login has been inactive for two weeks while they finalized everything. Once it works again, results will be there.

Yeah. It’s disabled until results are out.
