Bondi's campaign email where he refers to his two adopted sons as "diverse" is pretty cringeworthy.

“I’m not diverse but they sure are!”

I was wondering if anyone else reacted the way I did to this.

Protect the status quo! Don't let these people bring accountability to the criminal justice system. Resist!

Somebody please come get your grandpa (who doesn’t belong to the DC Bar). The closest he has gotten to practicing law is watching Justice with Judge Jeanine on FOX.

My DH too. Interested to see how many more votes this election gets than what previous ones if they release that info.

Yes, the number of votes should be released, as they were last year:

It’s deeply offensive on multiple levels.

First, it shows he is stupid. One person is not “diverse.” A group can be diverse or come from diverse backgrounds.

Second, someone must have told him that many, many times. Yet he persists because a) he is stupid and b) he likely he does not care what others think, including the children

I feel so badly for these children. Maybe Bondi and Amy Coney Barrett get together regularly to salute themselves for raising these children they clearly see as “other.”

Stranger adoption should be disqualifying from public office.

If you are serious you should defintely exercise your right to vote, but I feel like someone who was actually famliar with the make-up of the DC bar wouldn't be breezy about this given how implausible it is.

I cannot imagine he will win.

Yes please vote and thank you OP for posting! They probably thought he could slide in under the radar. By the way, if you want something to make you despise him more, he lives near me and prominently parks his big ugly cyber truck in his driveway daily like a trophy, despite having a garage.

Funny thing is this is one of his better photos.
