Yes! I have noticed that in those clips of the town halls with GOP politicians, they tend to be more female than male, that the women speak up more and the ones booing the loudest are women.

Men are conditioned to excel at mindlessly following orders. That’s why they send them to war. And a childhood filled with sports and getting yelled at by a coach is great psychological conditioning for following orders. Very few men can lead. Lots of men can follow orders to sacrifice themselves.

Women are more accustomed to speaking up and exercising individual agency because they are traditionally the victims of male violence. They have a keener sense of danger than men, can sense when a person or situation is potentially escalating to violence, and more willing to take proactive steps or voice concern in order to avoid or hear-off a violent situation.

In short, women can acutely discern that Trump and Republicans are escalating toward a violent crescendo. Men are more willing to excuse it or say “fake news!” because they lack the basic self-preservation instincts of women. This is why women are more likely to stand up to Trump - they are hardwired to warn others and try to find an off-ramp.

Me too was confusing. It did not focus on economic issues and if anything worked to get women out of male circles

Now in 2024, we have The Facebook guy saying he likes” MALE ENERGY “ (His words) in the tech sector. Face palm. STFU.

Most Women are not like the women in broadcast news or casting rooms. Those people are crazy . I would have punched matt lauer in the face, but that’s why I work in DC and not in NYC media. They tried to promote the issues like it related to all of us. It didn’t and it was hysteria. Just pay us and give us all paid child care thanks

Husband and father poster: . As a women in all roles, I know how to put up with a lot of BS to pay the bills/ I can’t relate to much of what i wrote. I have to fall in line to make it all work, every day. I still am a fierce political opponent but it has nothing to do with my Innie bits and taco.

Interesting, thanks.

I’ve been talking with friends and while our husbands are angry about Trump, they’re less likely to do anything and primarily believe it will all turn out fine eventually. Likely because white men are conditioned to most things turning out fine. I told DH he will be going to the protest this weekend—IDC if he stays for 10 min, but I told him I want his support in DOING something, like I’ve been doing for weeks.
