Loudoun Soccer East

Anonymous
Does anyone know if Loudoun East has been able to lure kids away from other clubs? I heard something about a Herndon coach going to Loudoun and some kids maybe following him. But not sure if it was for Loudoun East or regular Loudoun. Or is it mostly kids trying travel soccer for the first time? The fields aren’t a bad location for us but not sure what the player pool is like.

Well, they only have like 8 teams and 4 of the 5 coaches were poached from GFR by RP

Loudoun just sold LSP and will use county fields. Sterling doesn't stand a chance. When Loudoun East held tryouts in March, Sterling Soccer went around and put flyers on parents' cars.

To whom did they sell it to? Why would they give away ownership of two turf fields?

Loudoun county has so many fields, why wouldn't you cash in? MLS next isn't cheap....

I'm sure it didn't take much to get people out of GFR! They're firing and rehiring people at GFR on a daily basis.

They have a good coaching slate. ST well known on the boys side and has coached a couple of teams that won state titles. OH well liked on the girls side. Attend the tryouts to see what the player pool likes like and talk to the coaches. I knew them when at GFR and all are very approachable.

Anyone have information on this club? Tryouts this year?
We live in the Herndon/Sterling area and are looking to move both our boys to the same club, long story as to why they’re at 2 different clubs this year.
Boys are young so I’m just looking for something close to home, but somewhere they can develop and play in a good environment without all the BS (I know there are things at every club)

Unfortunately it's a really small club right now with subpar new teams. I would recommend checking out Sterling soccer if you want them in the same club and getting basic u-little training and development but it's close to you.
