Ughhh. Vietnam looks amazing, but the people are just awful..They constantly try to rip you off. Traffic is absolutely horrific and they will run you over. You can forget about pedestrian rights. Just very hostile people.

Born here but every summer went back for 10 years to be with grandparents. Taipei is insanely humid and hit yes. You know what city I compare it to? DC in the summer. I swear to god this is the one place that's like it. Or if you went down to the southern states is my guess.

So yes- really hot and sticky but not intolerable if you can get around in DC in July!

Would I go? No. But if that was the only opportunity due to school schedules, I would. We did Tokyo and China - Beijing Xian and Shanghai in June and I did not think it was bad at all, I had prepared for it to be worse actually!

Exactly. So much exaggerating. Are Taiwan and Japan hot in the summer? Of course. It is the summer. It's no different though than going to Orlando, New Orleans or Savannah. Go lookup the humidity data. Taiwan is really no different than going to Florida in the summer.

Or do SIngapore - Kuala Lumpur- Bali in some order. That you can do on your own.

Yes, just overlook the genocide and human rights abuses committed by Xi.☹️
