The right of asylum is recognized in international and US law. It was codified in 1952--not so much, perhaps, out of guilt over Jews denied entry from Europe before and during WWII, but because of the Cold War. It has been the basis for asylum ever since.

The app is a means of encouraging people to use the lawful means of applying for a specific legal status in the US.

It is unbelievable how little people know about immigration.

You and I both know that the vast majority of those applying and entering have false asylum claims. And, those applying know their claims are false.
And, these people are NOT vetted. This administration has allowed in gang members (Tren de Aragua) and terror suspects with the app.

Look, there is not one military officer who supports Austin, not one, but they have to act as though they do because he has turned into a race bating prick.
