It's all boring. The hotels are crap and so are the restaurants, if you've ever done an iota of traveling in your life. If, however, you are an American Rube and this is your First Big Vacation, you might have fun. |
Wasn't boring to us. Loved Disney, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Spent a day at each. Hollywood studios could disappear and not be noticed. |
Because you are obviously the most fun person of all! ![]() Jerk. |
\ So, what you're saying is you've been there, just like most everyone else. Huh. But you're somehow better or different? |
There’s always one. If you can’t have a good time with your family at Disney World, then YOU are the problem. LOL |
Disney purposely spreads out their best rides in an effort to make you hit all the parks. People will have varying opinions of the parks depending of preferences, and sometimes just the mood the day their visited (too hot, longer lines).
My kids were 9 and 7 when we went. They don't like Star Wars. Hollywood Studios was their least favorite (they still liked those rides, they also liked Tower of Terror, Muppets but that's closing, and the Indiana Jones show). Epcot was their fave (Guardians, Moana, Ratatouille). My husband got a beer at the various countries. The kids didn't care much for the "cultural" part of Epcot. But Guardians and Ratatouille were their top 3 rides from all of the parks. Animal Kingdom was fun for a few hours - we did the best rides in the AM and then napped and went back to Epcot in the PM. Magic Kingdom is a must even if it didn't have our favorite rides. So I would rank them for us: HS > AK > MK > EP |
I think you need to work on your ratings communication. |
Same here. We went to all 4 when my kid was 10. Magic kingdom and Animal kingdom was the favorite. Kid didn't like Hollywood studios (other than the star wars stunt). It was our first visit and I liked Magic Kingdom too - there is just something there even if overpriced. |
Ask your kids. |
You’ve probably already gone at this point, but my kids liked Epcot at that age. We were just there and returned to Epcot and it was fun.
We stayed at the Grand Floridian which is nice, and very convenient for the parks, although the pools are a little underwhelming and crowded. |
+1 This unhappy person didn't add much to the conversation, did they? |
We love Epcot it’s our favorite! We stay in swan or dolphin, lovely walk to the park |
OP - when are you going? The really cool pool at Beach and Yacht Clubs is being renovated. Test Track is closed right now, but Guardians of the Galaxy is really fun. |
Took my kids to epcot around those ages and they were bored. They had no interest in going to the countries part. I think we got there at the open and left by 1:30 including lunch. I would not go again, though Soarin was awesome. |
