Jen has been silent about politics until the trump era but she’s been very vocal on social about supporting abortion rights and Harris.

I'm with you, but unfortunately that ship has sailed. I was interested when the thread was about Bateman, but clearly, a few (or maybe just one) PPs are just going to keep coming back with stale variations on "Well, many of us are"/"That's what most Americans wanted" etc. Thread successfully derailed to make it all about themselves....oh, sorry, all about "most Americans."

NEw poster. I voted for Kamala but am interested in what Justine has to say. I agree with parts of it. I also disagree with the PP who characterized the Democrats as being paragons of inclusivity and respect for differences. I think part of what we got wrong is our insistence that everyone rigidly adhere to the Party line. Justine has written on social media that she and her brother hold different views but coexist just fine, and that she’s looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with him. She’s thoughtful, even if you disagree. We all have to listen to one another if we want change in the next election. As a Democrat in the wake of an election that went very wrong for us, I fully realize now how much we need to listen to understand. Rather than write Justine off, try listening. You might find there’s some room for agreement.

I just went to check her twitter and saw she posted this. Is it true? I don’t know CA policies but will search in a bit. An extra dollar per gallon is too much for many families.

Seems like the plan is to change emissions rules which could increase prices up to an additional $.65 per gallon. So not quite a dollar, but still significant on top of already much higher than average costs. Well so what? 90% of my friends are liberal (at least they purport to be) and I voted for Trump. And no, they aren’t aware that I did. I had to pretend to be devastated that Trump won. And for those of you who are prone to attack me for lying. This entire thread is evidence as to why I (and many others) do.
