I just read about it- the theory that the one survivor (the only one who we have to tell us they were doing all this frothing and screaming and bleeding) often took psychedelic mushrooms, and that person also couldn’t speak for 2 days once she got back, makes me think the simple explanation is most likely, that they all died of hypothermia and altitude sickness , as the autopsy says, and she just hallucinated the stuff she made up when she got back.
