Just bought a 2025 hybrid and got $4K off MSRP (which is about 10% off). I probably could have gotten a better deal but I needed to buy a car in a week and I have a busy schedule with minimal time for visiting dealers/negotiating. I'm happy with what I paid.

Yes. 100%. Back in September. Tysons Chantilly and Dulles were all willing to sell in this range.

I think there’s negotiating room for last years models that are new and still on the lot. I got a small discount on a Nissan purchased a few years ago when pandemic supply chain issues plagued the inventory of car dealers. If you’re open to different car makes and models there are probably some out there that aren’t in high demand and give you leverage.
