Who gets mass deported?

Anonymous
People don't seem to understand that ICE doesn't have a crystal ball that automatically tells them who the "legal" immigrants are. If you are not white, you may get caught up in the dragnet.

Now you may be thinking, "no big deal! I'll just prove my citizenship!" But what if they don't accept your documentation? What if they think you are faking your identity? The people making these decisions are going to be motivated to deport as many people as possible.

The ones here illegally. Next question

Okay - how are you planning on doing that? Round up anybody who looks brown and yellow and make them show you their papers? If they aren't here legally you are going to put them on a bus, cross to Mexico and dump them there? How do you round them up? Go knocking on doors? Have GRB type police find people? How will this be implemented?

It'll start with gang members under the Alien Enemies Act. It's a popular measure with Democrat voters as well.

What if they are US citizens?

Of course not. They get Maralargo memberships and automatic citizenship, but only if Trump thinks they’re pretty.

So are they just going to start harassing Latinos and asking for citizenship papers? Is a driver’s license enough?

They just need to make it illegal at the federal level for their kids to enroll in any schools here, and illegal at the federal level for them to receive any benefits whatsoever, and some of them will start to deport themselves for us.

I hope it becomes possible somehow for us to stop birthright citizenship. That will remove a lot of the incentive. I believe the constitution is not as clear about this as some people think, since it assumes those people were legal immigrants who come here. In any case, I hope we could get the votes now to change that (even if it’s a specific voting question during the next election).

What you just dump them where exactly? Or do we just keep them in concentration camps?

Other countries. Why fund concentration camps.

How?

What are you suggesting that you can’t tell citizenship status by merely looking at someone?? It’s easy: blue eyes and blonde hair = american

So many conspiracy theorists here.
Use your brains, people. THINK.

There are only so many resources available to carry out mass deportations. Thousands of ICE agents aren’t going to be pulled out of a hat.

The administration is not going to be able to deport millions of people.

They will be able to deport some. They will start with criminals and recent arrivals. A few non-criminals will get swept up.

Deporting millions isn’t a SMART goal, but strategic deportations to increase national security and cut off the pipeline are reasonable and doable.

We have laws that deal with US citizens. Just like we have laws that deal with illegal aliens.

Lock up the ones here that are US citizens and if you’re an illegal alien out you go…

It’s pretty easy really.

If someone came here and lied on their application about past criminal history while becoming a citizen then there is ground to strip citizenship and deport, but that was always the case. It is the case now. It's just not enforced a lot.

That is wishful fairy tale thinking.
