It's not a stupid rule. It's for safety. Your kid is playing a sport not going on a date. There is zero need for jewelry. None. These rules are in place for ALL SPORTS for a reason. |
Then you haven't been to enough games. Just this weekend a mom was yelling at a ref because he called a penalty but hadn't decided if it was a yellow card or not. The mom starts repeating the rulebook to him LOUDLY over and over. Yeah...only dads. Okay. |

No jewelry allowed while playing is one of the first rules enforced from the earliest of ages:
- Tap your shinguards - Hold out your arms. Does anyone have any jewelry on? If so, go remove it now. Our kid had her ears pierced, and we took them out at the start of the game and put them right back in when the game ended. No big deal. If that's too much work for someone, then get their ears pierced in the off season. |
