This doesn't mean she didn't work there or that's she's lying. They literally said they don't have records of all employees from the 80's and 90's. Why would they? Those would be paper records from thousands of franchises. How would they even start going through them, if they existed?

That is not what the statement says. They stated that the franchises don’t have records of all employees who worked for them back in the 80s.

That’s not unusual. My old employer tried to find info about me, and they didn’t have the records either. I still worked there.
