Just like there is nothing Harris could do at this point that would make you vote for Trump.

If they don't want to vote for Harris they don't have to vote for Harris. But I can't see how anyone can, in good conscience, vote for Trump, given how clearly cognitively unfit he is to serve. A third choice would be to sit it out. They can absolutely survive Harris and will do just fine under a Harris term (sorry but the MAGA doom and gloom over a Harris term is grossly overblown), but Trump is at this point at best incoherent and at best outright malignant and likely to throw us into yet another set of completely unwarranted and unnecessary constitutional crises and other chaos far worse than his first term.

I don’t believe the country can survive Harris. Her economic and border policies have been disastrous. I am worried about my children’s future if she wins.

Trump has no chance so I guess say your prayers sweetie.

No chance? According to whom? Because he’s the favorite according to betting markets and Nate Silver has the race as essentially 50-50.

He has a chance of course. He has very little chance of making it all four years though given his age and rate of decline. Fortunately, this is our last rodeo having to deal with this idiot.

Very, very little chance. Americans are fed up with the poor leadership of the past 8 years by people that are at least a decade past a time when they were fit and competent enough to lead in a presidential way. No way we're going back to another over the age of 75 guy.

lol- Silver is a total outlier and you know it. I hope it keeps you warm, this pathetic fantasy. Trump has effectively already lost, and posting 500-follower X accounts insisting Trump DESTROYED Harris on non-existent issue A or DEMOLISHED her on imaginary issue B won’t mean a damn thing when you wake up depressed the Wednesday after Election Day.

Why assume that most trump voters track news like this?

Why assume that they care about Detroit or Michigan?

Why assume that Michiganders think Detroit is fabulous as is?

Etc.

ICYMI: His voters and those who dislike Kamala are likely drawn to Trump precisely for his candid remarks—even if they sound nutty or arrogant or patently false.

I’m more troubled by the polling on black voters and men in general who support trump. I’m praying that women continue to out-vote men. The obvious misogyny and anti-Kamala vibe for whatever reason are problematic.

It’s as if you didn’t read OP. If you think what Trump said about their jobs being so simple a child could do them won’t be talked about it among the workers, you’re nuts. I would also assume that most people in Michigan care about Michigan and most people in Michigan have at least a passing interest in the largest city in their state.

I think he saw the internals as to just how bad he is going to lose and is falling off a narcissist cliff.

Agree. He’s been campaigning in states like CA and NY.

This, too. I think we see the desperation here. The trolling was not so crazy in 2016 or 2020.

I’m calling it and have for a month - he’s going to get demolished and he knows it, and knows the deeper thing is the loss will be so evident that protests and bullshit post vote won’t work. He’s in actual trouble for the first time in his life, facing consequences that can actually touch him, at 78 and faltering in his health. He’s doomed. And we all know it.

This. Trump is going through the motions as best he can. But he’s an old weak has-been.

As an entertainer he should have known better than many to leave the stage at the peak.

Trump has lost thanks to there being more than enough Americans that have learned from the past 8 years that elderly presidents is a bad idea and that Trump is self-centered loser with zero integrity.

Yes. America is ready to move beyond the boomers running everything. Like so many other boomers, it’s time for Trump to consider assisted living facilities with a memory care unit.

He and Biden can share ice cream and nurses.

Muslims have basically nothing in common with the D party, no common beliefs or values. The only thing that the D party can offer is some kind of broad validation of their minority status, but no validation of their actual views or goals. If you look at Pew polling of Muslims, support for Ds have been declining since 2014. The only thing the left has going for it is the race hustle, but current events call the actual ROI for Muslims of that approach into question. Most people don't see themselves as being "minority" first. They see their identity as being interwoven with their beliefs and culture, and the D party isn't exactly traditional or religious.

Same. It is amusing watching people on this board try to convince themselves of this. I mean, comparing Trump to Biden is like night and day, yet Dems said Biden was totally fine.

Americans are fed up with the Biden-Harris administration and four years of high prices and open borders.

Mostly true but Muslims living in the America for the past eight years have witnessed elderly people with very poor leaderships skills in The White House. They are likely going to vote for Harris because most people want a return of leadership and fitness to The White House. Not rocket science.
