US Vice President Kamala Harris's husband Doug Emhoff has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend for flirting with a valet worker, way back in 2012, according to a bombshell report.

Emhoff allegedly slapped his then-girlfriend so hard that she spun around, according to a report in Daily Mail, citing three friends of the lady assaulted by the Second Gentleman. The incident transpired after an event at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2012.

One of the friends claimed that the woman called them immediately after the incident and informed them about the alleged assault by Emhoff.


It was hard to hear her because she was sobbing,” the friend said.

“She told me she was with a guy and he hit her. It was very clear what she was telling me. She said she was with a guy, her date, she was at the Cannes Film Festival, and he hit her. She was in the car with the guy at the time."

“I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know whether to call the French police. I couldn’t get a hold of her after calling back," the woman allegedly told the friend.

While the identity of the woman has not been revealed, she is referred to by her alias 'Jane' in the report which mentioned that she is now a successful New York attorney.

Emhoff allegedly ended the Cannes trip early and returned to Los Angeles for his daughter's birthday and the two never saw each other again. The outlet's report suggests that Emhoff was unapologetic about the entire incident.


Wonder if any investigative journalists will investigate these allegations? They really should. Just for the sake of the woman who was allegedly assaulted, if she was hurt and humiliated in this way, she’s definitely carrying a bunch of pain and trauma around. She might be burying it and trying not to think about it, but you really can’t forget this kind of stuff.

If Emhoff did this, what kind of guy is he? Not a good one. They covered up his affair with the nanny; did he force the nanny to have an abortion? What is up with these scumbag men? Is his temper and controlling nature the reason Kamala laughs a lot…because she’s covering up he’s abusive to her, too? So many questions.

Are you not concerned that the president of the United States might live with a physical abuser? Chances that this was the only time he assaulted a woman are very low.

She seems very submissive and laughs about everything. Like if she makes it a joke it’s ok…I don’t like that. That could definitely be a defense mechanism she’s developed. You just know he didn’t cop to cheating/impregnating nanny/slapping his date for “flirting with a valet” and abandoning her in France when he was dating Kamala.

Plus Kamala was basically abandoned by her dad. Her dad’s comments on Kamala and her sister are ridiculously awful and he seems like a world class a-hole. Kamala famously dated an older, powerful man, when she was so young and gorgeous. Tell me that her a-hole dad hasn’t impacted her judgement about men and love.


That also would explain why her CNN interview was done with Kamala in the little chair and Walz towering over her in a bigger chair.

Yeah, and the media talked about those charges and investigated them. Why would Emhoff get a pass?
