Is getting your nails done ok?

The women all seem miserable, don't speak English, and the pimp character walking around supervising...ugh. I would pay three times as much for a normal experience but I haven't found it. It's strange that hairdresser is a normal, ok-paying career for an american-born person but manicurist is not.

There is a reason for this: https://www.npr.org/2019/05/19/724452398/how-vietnamese-americans-took-over-the-nails-business-a-documentary

Well, this is exactly what I am and why I asked. So help me out?

This just isn't true.

Nothing riles up DCUM bourgeoisie like other women's nail choices.

PP and I leave the nail salon totally relaxed. I splurge on a manicure and pedicure with foot massage every two weeks and it’s my favorite self care routine.

The lady that does my nails often is putting herself through a master’s program. The other woman has a young child she’s supporting, and is a contributing a second income to her family with a flexible schedule. I’m sure they’d find your generalization incredibly stupid and insulting.

I love the look of polished nails and used to enjoy doing them myself. However, I hated spending time doing my nails only for them to chip the next day. Since the beginning of the year I've found a manicurist I love, who is gentle and have gotten builder gel/gel polish and I love it. No chips, no snags. Just polished nails. I keep them short and get whatever color I like. Right now I got "Got the Blues for Red" OPI. I treat myself once a month and for me it's relaxing.

I don't because it seems expensive and I do it well myself.

What is that? How does it make it easier?

Always having a natural looking or chic manicure is a good way to look more put together
