You were storming through the parking lot, screaming “douche bag” climbing over pumpkins on the sidewalk past customers to get to the store manager to report the driver, resulted in scaring many children. FWIW I was not with any children of my own, but saw the looks of other families as you were ranting and screaming. If you recognize yourself in this, I suggest you go talk to a professional about your experience because your reaction was quite concerning.

Why would you post this here? If she was upset over almost being hit by a car, why not be a good persona and go ask her if she was ok? Your reaction is more concerning than hers was. You need to go talk to a professional if you would shame her here like this as its very unkind.

It is because OP was in the car. Driving it, to be specific!

Even the OP trying to shame her by saying she was "crossing without paying attention and also not a crosswalk." Who cares? Her inattention doesn't harm anyone. The drivers are the one who need to pay attention. Because if they don't, it'll get weird!

ITA maybe by throwing a sh!t fit in front of everyone, this woman will get people like OP to wake up and realize you have to be very careful about pedestrians all over the parking lot and not just in crosswalks.

Female drivers…

Meh. A car almost hitting you is a big deal.

I bet OP is out here almost killing people. Or, even more likely, OP’s kid.

Rio Washingtonian screaming MAGA cult member the other morning. She got mad at a gentleman who was cleaning the side walk. She screamed for ten minutes how “Trump
Will deport him” I will not post her other heinous words.

Ugh

Start your own thread. This is about crazy drivers apoplectic over pedestrians having the gall to be upset that the driver almost hit them. The nerve!

Don’t forget the pedestrian’s complete disregard for sidewalk pumpkins!

Shared responsibility OP.

In VA, I believe that drivers must yield to pedestrians in crosswalks or when pedestrians are crossing the path of the vehicle, but pedestrians also have a responsibility to avoid suddenly stepping in front of moving vehicles where the driver may not have enough time to stop.

I just really wish I had a video of this lady screaming douche bag in front of a bunch of children and trampling down Whole Foods pumpkins!

Pffft, that's literally just FC WF behavior, tho.

No, she was well dressed with her own vehicle.

well you lost me here. are you so naive to think that a well dressed person with her own car cannot experience a mental health episode or have mental health problems? do you think well dressed people are immune to mental health crisis? hope you dont end up learning the hard way.

Inattention is definitely harmful. I've had to screech brakes to avoid a woman carelessly looking at her phone who stepped off the curb in front of my green turn arrow. If I'd hit her it would have harmed her, and it would have harmed me because I was in the right.

Yes, but this driver was in a parking lot where it's their responsibility to creep along vigilantly. This is nothing like an intersection with signals. A driver almost killed someone because they didn't take responsibility and now is shaming the victim. People like that should lose their licenses.

Normal behavior for the entitled Karens of the City of Falls Church. Ignore them.

Come on man When you’re in a Whole Foods parking lot, you have to act like toddlers are running everywhere.

Ahh, the Old Town Safeway, the Del Ray Aldi, The Arlandria MOMS, the CC Harris Teeter, the Backlick shopping center Safeway, the Metroplitan market in AQ in Seattle, the Alberstons in Ballard, the TJs in Springfield....
