For Langley/McLean, how many AP classes should a student shoot for to be taking a most rigorous courseload

Take solid APs in all 5 core subjects (including FL); start as early as possible and reach the pinnacle when available. If you want to add an "elective" AP you can. But prioritize AP Calc over stats, AP lab sciences over AP Environmental, AP Histories over Psych, etc. FL is the only one that can be reached max in 11th; and that slot should be filled with a solid AP. Focus on the AP cores and use the other slots to weave a solid story w interest and depth. That is max rigor. Also priotitize AP over DE for most schools (in state that knows the Community College system and accepts the credit would be the only exception).
