What teams are you watching? They have not had been good until just recently and best showing was at CrabFeast and played NLF but never reached or played many competitive tournaments since inception. I am talking about the 26 squad whom are much better than their other teams. I case you didn't know that 26 beat Prime Time 26 at NLF.

Everyone has beaten them. DCE a few times over two summers and NL as well. Prime Time team is ranked #19 much higher then #31 VLC. But clearly they (Prime Time) have a great pipeline to ND and individually has really good players unlike the VLC team. That was a good win for VLC and Crabfeast showing but don't think that is going to get it done.

Thank you for this information, I was only aware of the VLC 26 team. While I understand in general they do not usually send that many guys to high level D1 is this 26 team not much better than most of their squads?

Keep in mind that it is only September 13. VLC 2026 is stacked with great players, but not quite the type of player that top 10-15 D1 teams such as UVA, Maryland, or Notre Dame would want, and those are the schools where the super early commits go. By next summer, almost all of VLC 2026 players will be committed to quality D1 or D3 schools. But VLC doesn't have any 5 star or 4 star players, and very few 3 stars, so it is no surprise that they have no commitments to the very top programs in the first 12 days.

"stacked with great players" is a stretch, but I do predict this team will send 5-10 players to D1 schools, and 5-10 players to top level D3 schools. Feel free to come back to this post next summer and tell me if I was right or wrong.

You might just want to combine VLC and Crabs together....pretty much the same connections and recruiting support. Lacking in my opinion and based on results.

So you consider lower end D1 the next level but CNU or HS-C is low tier? Interesting because you mention the VLC goalie will be D1 when he will be literally backing up the future CNU goalie this spring.

There are currently VLC alumni who are freshmen players at Yale, UVA and BU among others so slow down on the CNU only pipeline.

Also Georgetown PSU SJU Drexel Richmond Utah Jacksonville HighPoint and yes several at CNU which is probably why they are a D3 powerhouse.

I wonder how much the “extra curricular activity” of one particular player on the 26 VLC team is playing and will play into the looks at the other boys on that team and hs team.

Any coach will tell you that grades and attitude play a large role into their offers specifically at the lower D1 and 2/3 levels.
saw a top kid (football) get passed over because of his off field antics.

I doubt that behavior and attitude issues with one player will affect recruiting of another. Like a pp said, this team will get plenty of kids recruited, just not in the first two weeks of September.
