Luc, Mindy and Sylvie are my favorite characters. Emily gets on my last nerve. And the whole Camille storyline, agreed, was terrible.
I did like how Mindy needed money for Eurovision, then Nicolas bought her that couture suit (which I hated and didn't look expensive at all, more like a Chanel knock off) and when she learns that Nicolas's dad didn't like how she dress, she says shove it and sells the couture to get the money. A little Seinfeld-esque circular plot thread. |
I also love those three characters but I hated Mindy's storyline this season. I don't think either of those guys is worthy of her and also I think her personality and charisma is such that she's going to outshine any guy who doesn't 100% have his $hit together which neither of these guys do. So I spent the whole season just being annoyed on her behalf. Her speech to Nicolai at the end was spot on though and I like how her story wound up with her finding success on her own without help from either him or Benoit. Though I do feel bad for the third guy in their Eurovision group -- he really gets screwed over by the whole situation! He didn't even get his photo in the papers! Lame. |
I feel like Mindy constantly gets screwed. I mean, she had to flee because she was an embarrassment in Season One? Anyway, I haven't seen the end and was only to read this thread since no way will I get to the end. But, while I could never pull off (or want to) Mindy's clothes, I love them! |
extremely unfortunate hair. |
Have seen this kinda matchup somewhere else...was it Gilmore Girls? Rory is with Dean (sorta like Gabriel), then a rebel (Alfie??), finally with that rich guy (Emily with Italian dude)?? |
menopause for him? |

Agree that Silvie, Luc and Mindy are the most interesting/fun characters. The clothes, Paris and Rome are also good “characters.” The rest…meh.
My take on Gabriel’s hair is that he had practically no character development through the season, so they decided to switch up his looks instead. Agree that Camille’s story line was awful. Whenever Alfie comes on we yell at the screen, “Run, save yourself!” He’s too good to be treated like a ping pong ball over and over. |

The actor who plays Gabriel is trashing the show to the press. I think this explains why his acting is so wooden and the chemistry nonexistent. He thinks he's supposed to be getting Oscar worthy roles. I hope they can him because he's the worst part of the show.
Lucas Bravo shades Emily in Paris says show doesn't 'stimulate' him https://mol.im/a/14005875 via https://dailym.ai/android |
Nothing else he’s been in has been even remotely Oscar worthy. |
Bad nose tweak! Hopefully they're bad fillers and will dissolve but looks like they shaved the bridge and built up the tip. Yikes and that hair!

That’s not cool. The show gave him his big break in the US. He is going to be blackballed if he’s not careful. Such hubris. |

Luc is the absolute best character, that actor is gold!

Wow. Very unattractive there and almost unrecognizable. |
The word “trashing” is melodramatic. He said he’s getting a taste for having freedom and wants to the get the word out about his preferences. He is a contractor or solo business. If he doesn’t state what he wants, it will never happen. I don’t think any of us can disagree with his comment that the show lacks depth. None of us watch for “depth” or to gain great insight. It’s a light, fluttery show. |
The actor’s native language is Italian… |
