I may be wrong for saying this but having children and/or being married is more important than being with someone they truly love for "some" women.

Men need to.adjust.to this new reality. She is certainly not speaking for all women. However, we can't ignore they fact that TODAY women are far more independent than they used to. Divorce is easier. Most men make relationship decisions primarily on sexual attractiveness. Often with women who lower earning, or possibly with mental health problems and lacking parenting skills and conscientiousness. Really hotness is what matters the most.

Men frequently put themselves in relationships where they are at a loss.

you just described every man who has dumped their wife and is now dating/marrying a woman a decade+ younger than him.
Men do this probably 50 times the rate of a woman doing this- with usually no judgment or fallout.
In fact many men do this multiple times and then have 25+ year age gaps- gross.
