Kristin Cavallari says dating a younger man isn't for 'anything other than just pure happiness'

Can't wait until she's on TikTok in a few years ranting about all the alimony and spousal support she has to pay. I doubt women are any better than men at resisting marriage to the young, hot side piece.

"I own my own house. I have kids. I don't need a man for anything other than just pure happiness,"

I may be wrong for saying this but having children and/or being married is more important than being with someone they truly love for "some" women.

Men need to.adjust.to this new reality. She is certainly not speaking for all women. However, we can't ignore they fact that TODAY women are far more independent than they used to. Divorce is easier. They are gainfully employed with good salaries. Once they have children they are not stuck with a man they feel is useless. As a man, I really think that women do not need men today to be happy. And I also don't think men need to put up with these women who are looking to see how much marginal value they add to their lives.

+1. And I completely agree with her.

They overwhelmingly are, lol. Divorced women who are financially independent rarely remarry to anyone, younger side piece or no

She is speaking on behalf of many women. Bravo!

I am a man and I approve her message. Just like her I am divorced, have kids, my own house, good investments etc. at this point in my life I don't need to a woman into my life it will bring more headache than anything.

Isn’t that “true” love? She’s with him not for his money or procreation but because he makes her happy, and hopefully vice versa. Middle age seems to be actually the best time to look for true love.

First of all…..

Why would ANYone take the dating advice from a reality star who has such a cheap, phony company behind her??!

Her skincare + jewelry items are very expensive in price but the quality is just cheap.
Like Dollar Tree cheap.

This younger guy is just using her while he has his fun.
He is young - he certainly can afford to just goof off.
There is more at stake for her.
She has three children to parent and she is no spring chicken!

I am sure this is just a boy toy phase for her (like in her Laguna days.)

Pretty sure it will never last.
This guy is not ready to hunker down and be a Stepfather to three kids at 24.

You see it here almost daily, go to any thread about an age gap.

If I'd met her back when I was a 24-year-old man I probably would have.

Nobody would even ask a man about it. We don't even bat an eye at this age gap when it's reversed.

I a feel fortunate to be in the same situation and feel the same way as the bolded. That said, my bf is my age and also has kids. I suspect with KC that she likes the power dynamic she has with him.
.

Or perhaps she does not want to be in a relationship where they are juggling 2 sets of kids.

I wouldn't.

To each his/ her own. But I would rather stay single than date anyone with kids.

On the other hand, I wouldn't date younger men either because I don't find younger men attractive. I don't get the appeal.
