It was a moving speech. Heartfelt. He said what needed saying. The rest is up to others.

But he doesn't think he can go for four more years. That's the whole point. He has stepped out and passed the torch to a new generation. But a great man.

When the GOP moves on from insurrectionism (Trump) and benevolent dictatorship (Vance and Thiel), then we'll talk.

I agree but I'm annoyed by our Dem politicians playing down to the same GOP level.

It's jaw dropping and selfish of Trump to think that he can still govern even though he's as old and senile as he is.

The banner at the bottom of the screen was blocking his hands. The few times he moved them into the shot, they were quivering. Do with that what you will.

He said nothing. We all know he was forced out by his party.

That’s pretty normal for an elderly person’s hands to quiver

A great man would have announced their intent not to seek another term in 2023 so that their party would have the opportunity to nominate a normal candidate for the 2024 POTUS race through a competitive process. Thanks to Biden's selfishness, party leaders are appointing a nominee to replace him after he embarrassed the country and party. Biden is a step up from Trump but he is far, far from "great man" territory.

Thank you President Biden.

It was very moving. I can’t imagine Trump ever being so emotionally intelligent or selfless.

Biden is old school. Bless him.
