AP Scholar designation

National Merit SF is a joke award. It's the same as your PSAT score but less information.

The common app allows only 5 honors but allows 10 ECs? So the game is to cram the other honors into the ECs and essay?

3 or higher all at three exams is called "AP Scholar"

Yet some colleges like to brag about how many NM kids they have. You got the award and aren't going to list it? LOL, fine. My kid included it.

Those schools give those kids the National Merit Scholarship through the NMSF program application.

They don't need NMSF on the college application.

How many honors/awards does your kid have? Mine had 4 including NMSF and AP distinction, listed them and got into T10s.

Got you best. Not NM. Only took ACT-

The AP scholar and Dean’s list were only hs honors. Unhooked into 2 ivies and 2 other T10s.

Not the fake awards that other people who claim to 'not have space for AP and NMSF' seem to have.
