Is it weird to look up new coworkers on FB?

I search work people all the time. I want a better understanding of who they are when I have to interact with them. But I would never tell the person that.

Always run the females through FB, Insta and Vsco. Screenshot the bikini and thong pics. I know it's creepy, but if they're putting it out there... obvi don't use work computer.

Yes. Only weirdos do that.

That's not true. While I don't actively seek the friend suggestions list, on recent and separate occasions, I saw three people in my suggestion list from the past who had no reason or connections to be there and deduced that they had searched for me. I only have 27 friends, and they are all family. The searchers were former colleagues. It's no biggie, but I am clear that they searched for me, and I saw it. Op, if you don't want to get caught searching, don't search.

I'm not super proud of this, but women should know this is what thier male coworkers are doing.

It's very creepy and odd.

Curious about the Facebook suggestions-do you have to be logged in to be tracked? What if it’s a public page?

I look up their address on Whitepages, their mortgage info from Property IQ, the county tax assessment records, their LinkedIn, and families’ social media profiles. If they’re runners I look up their race finish times

I feel like it humanizes them when they spout some corporate babble talk

So they know what to subpoena in the sexual harassment lawsuit.

Have you considered talking to your coworkers like a human? Asking the about their interests, and sharing yours?

No, I get bored when I talk in real life. I’d rather stare at my phone
