You can never get enough, cupcake. |

On a related note:
When does the fall season typically start for Achilles? New to the club. Thanks |
On a related note to the main topic, that is. Not calling anyone cupcake. |
| Based on last year (MLSNext U14), training started on August 21 (3x week) and there was a pre-season tournament the last weekend in August, with games starting the second weekend in September. |
Be prepped they are very very disorganized. You will get this information last minute |
| Thank you. |
It's a small club so that doesn't come as a surprise. Thank you. |
That's an understatement. Sometimes you don't get any information unless you badger the coaches. In terms of practice schedule, it depends on the age group and whether the team is MLS Next or not. I believe the U15 and below teams - both MLS Next and non - practiced 2-3x a week starting 3rd week in Aug like a PP said. The U16 MLS Next team did the same thing, I believe. They may not have practiced 3x a week in the fall due to HS commitments. The U17 group had 0 practices, 0 tournaments, and 0 league games unti mid-Nov for one team and mid-Oct for the other. This was announced the 3rd week in August when a parent asked on Team Snap about the fall practice schedule. Achilles was not forthcoming with this information without being asked, apparently. We were new to the club last year and did not realize this in June when we registered. Wish we had. We're leaving after this spring due to verbally abusive, borderline incompetent coaching (not Sal or Vin), complete lack of communication, and horrible roster management practices. Since we have a current player, we received our offer last week. I know other players on the team did as well. |
