| I assume we will hear either way or will we just hear if a spot is offered? This is for regular level not MLSNext. |
| They take all paying comers not on their non mls next teams |
| Who do you think pays for MLS Next? It's the non MLS Next. My son gets offered every year despite never trying out. |
Actually, i think they get money from MLS to support the programs. |
Clubs have to pay to get into MLS next program. Hence fees are so high.
|
So they are like Arlington, McLean, SYC, Alexandria and every other team that have 3-6 teams in each age bracket. What’s your point? |
Hey you big clown. The point is, even your child will get a spot.
|
|
Big Clown. LOL.
Look at the little keyboard samurai chopping me up! |
| Anyone know if offers have gone out for current players yet? |
Yes they have. |
| So my current player was not offered a spot? How could that happen? |
They only have at best two teams in each age and promise the ability for promotion to MLS next for the second teamers. I've never seen it happen |
| Having seen the Achilles U10 coach rip his players apart and yelling horrible things at a game this weekend, whatever thoughts we had of switching to that club are gone. I hope parents check this out before signing up. |
|
Is the prospect of MLS Next down the line that big of a carrot for U10 parents to endure the constant yelling at young kids?
Honest question from a new(ish) soccer parent. |
| Agree with PP about their coaches ripping players apart, we saw this in the u12 and u14 teams in last weeks. And honestly the mlsnext stuff is really just an empty promise. It really doesn’t go anywhere. |
