You are wrong. For the nth time in this stupid thread, the incumbent party’s convention is always last and both parties avoid the weeks of the Summer Olympics, so the last convention is almost always in mid to late August. Ohio has a stupid law that conflicts with the normal convention schedule and has previously passed exceptions without any controversy. Ohio Republicans are the dipshits here. No one else.

My theory is that Ohio Republicans wanted a pretextual reason to curtail early voting in Ohio, which is quite popular. But they didn’t want the political blowback.
