That is standard at Loudoun. Their girls side is always smaller than the boys, especially in the 2014s. There were four girls teams last year and six boys teams in that age group. |
| Loudoun makes a LOT of teams. I can't imagine how many fields they must need to support them all. |
Don't worry they have the whole Loudoun County fields! |
My son is 2013. There were 150 boys there for tryouts 😩 |
150! No chance for kids from outside LS to make it to the top team? |
pretty much nope unless they ID your kid from season games. |
DS comes from another club outside Loudoun never had an ID session, got an offer on the top team, Anything possible! |
| Any idea how 2016B will be? I’ve heard the academy already has around 60-70 kids so it feels like a bunch of teams will already be predetermined |
Your kid will make the team. You’ll just fork out 2-3k for elite super gold platinum. Hint: expensive rec. |
|
Loudoun Soccer and Truist bank needs to figure out what to do with the travel team accounts.
It was fine under SunTrust, but ever since Truist took over, they have changed the form entry system and are requiring a cosign from a Loudoun official. How are they going to handle having to sign off on 100 travel teams? They were looking for an RR who is not on the organizational chart to come in and sign forms. |
| Any insight on what tryouts have looked like so far? Having 100 kids across LSP seems like a shitshow waiting to happen. All super small sided games with no room. Feels like a big cluster |
Things that never happened for 500 😂 |
| Looks like 2011 boys might drop one team and only have four. |
| How long does it usually take for offers to come across? Had tryouts for U9G this weekend and still havent seen an offer come. We were new to the program but she did at least move up a few fields in the two days |
| All offers are typically completed in a week. If you haven't heard anything after a week, expect a generic email offering them to play rec. |
