Why is Biden not addressing Israel or the university protests?

Pregnant women would like a word. Seriously, Gaza is NOT the issue you think it is.

What do you mean “not the issue [you] think it is”?

It’s the full throated support of the U.S. for the killing of children. Pretend every adult in Gaza is Hamas and you still have the death of more than ten thousand children to account for. This is completely against every single thing Joe Biden said about his foreign policy.

I’m a woman with a daughter, planning a another pregnancy. The Dobbs case is huge for me. But this will apparently be the single time Americans will be able to communicate to Joe Biden that support for Israel will cost a Democrat his job. He can either learn that lesson before the election and pivot— right now— or he can learn it after the election while he watches the Trump victory speech and knows he sacrificed the safety of the women of this country in order to support the killing of children abroad.

You are right. Infact, we are gonna let AIPAC run our foreign policy because they have our best interests at heart.

Hamas is a terrorist organization. But kudos to folks trying to paint Israel as one when they were defending themselves, like the U.S. on 9/11.

Sure. It’s almost as if Trump and the Republicans have been out-performing every election for the past two years. Cast your protest vote and be irrelevant. NGAF.

DP and cast vote to support Israel’s killing fields and endless wars. Too bad people like you are a single issue voter.

Thanks for your support. You seem to believe the only way to be “relevant” is to vote for Joe Biden, but he seems entirely disinterested in what his constituency wants on this issue. So I’m comfortable with irrelevance.

If Trump somehow overcomes all his criminality, corruption, and baggage to win, nobody is going to take Israel-Gaza as the lesson to be learned. That’s why you’re irrelevant. At least you’re comfortable with that.

Won’t that depend on who doesn’t vote for Biden? If he loses youth, progressive and black voters (I.e everyone at these protests) what do you think the “lesson learned” will be?

Don’t come crying to the rest of us when you realize you sat on your hands when the threat of authoritarianism loomed over America. There’s no such thing as a protest vote.

Pregnant women can have a word with Joe Biden, who is sacrificing American democracy at the altar of AIPAC donations.

Yes. If it's so important to you, maybe consider how much money congress is giving to Israel versus how much money congress gives to planned ParentHood.... seriously - just google it.

If you think Israel/Gaza is the most important issue facing our country right now, you’re either not paying attention, don’t understand politics, or you’ve been persuaded by online trolls to be apathetic. Maybe all three.

And please don’t come crying to us when your candidate sacrificed American women and American democracy to allow Netanyahu to kill more children without consequences. We have been trying to warn you since January, you will have no way to say thug wasn’t a deliberate choice.

No. Why do you think he should? US foreign policy is not dictated by entitled college kids living on Daddy's $$$$ and who have never, and will never, serve their county in the military or in any other way. The frightening aspect is that many of these dilatantes will be in positions of authority and national importance some day.

The Viet Nam demonstrations did influence national politics and the upshot was that we got Nixon. I must admit that Nixon was a kindergartener compared to Trump but that's another story.

Yes, yes they will. And sooner than you think.

Option four: I think the killing of tens of thousands of children with U.S taxpayer dollars is the biggest error of our country right now, and the person in the White House is where the buck stops.

Trump isn’t gong to do a thing for Gaza. So you can vote with the millions of other issues facing our country in mind instead of throwing a temper tantrum about the one issue on which you can’t have your way. Be a responsible adult citizen.

College students are risking suspension and arrest. They’ve come under chemical attack and been literally shot. To protest this killing in their name. But you want them to get out and vote for Joe Biden? Who can’t spare a word for the American families mourning the death of loved ones in Gaza?
