Would you send your kids to private school even if it is very inconvenient to get to?

We are at a private that’s a long drive and I would recommend against. It’s not just commute but all the activities and socializing. And I agree with the poster above that our DC have far fewer social opportunities because of living further away.

We’ve considered switching to public but are getting such great support and instruction at the private that we’re not switching. But if I had started out in public and been happy with it then staying would be a no brainer.
