No one actually follows niche rankings, your child most certainly attends BIM. |
Not even a GDS parent would rank BIM above Sidwell, give up the act we know your kids are at JR. |
TIL GDS is a "false" private school. DCUM is wild, but it's fun entertainment. The trolls certainly are interesting! |
“All that glistens is not gold;
Often have you heard that told: Many a man his life hath sold But my outside to behold: Gilded tombs do worms enfold.” |
What is BIM? |
A for-profit private school owned by a Chinese investment firm https://www.wsj.com/articles/parents-voice-concern-over-sale-of-basis-independent-schools-11556583203 |
Madeira and Episcopal (and, to a lesser extent, STA and Prep) actually have students who aren’t from the area. |
It’s spelled Madeira. Your inability to spell it correctly leads me to believe… you don’t know anything about the school. Madeira has higher SAT scores, better college outcomes, and a more rigorous course load. One example based on what is published on the school websites. Madeira has 3 post AP Calc BC options in multivar, differential equations and linear algebra. SR has one option - multivar and that is not taught in school most years - the school uses an online school to teach the few advanced students. Things like that and the rigor of the mod system distinguish the two. |
Ugh! 😑 |
The CEO has board seats at Harvard, Columbia, and the Nature Conservancy. They own Princeton Review and tutor.com. Sounds really radical. I hope that you don’t support any of those institutions. |
The majority owners are Primavera Capital Group out of Beijing. The link below is to their management team. https://www.primavera-capital.com/people-culture/ Care to shed light on which of these folks has a Board seat on any of the organizations you cite? Still focused on obfuscating the ownership? |
It’s all there on the website, pal. Stop trying to slime the school with your anti-Chinese hysteria and myopia. |
That’s… all the schools? You just left out the BIM 😂 |
And no one else does or cares |
No one at these schools even know BIM or interact with any students who go there. Is BIM in the ISL… no. |
