There's time to take all the required courses during the regular school year at no additional cost. Want more? Yeah, it might cost more.

So I was hoping to sign my kid up for Spanish 3 because he has had a long term sub that has basically confused the whole class the second half of the year. Says rising 9th graders can only take tech, art or math. can someone recommend a summer school class somewhere else for Spanish?

Wait - I signed up my rising 9th grader for health. Is that not allowed?

They can take health.

He should be able to retake Spanish 3 if it is available. The courses you listed are for original credit.

When do the parents get the notification that the requested courses are approved and they can pay?

Bump

I am wondering too. Glad to hear that I am not the only one that has not rescued any kind of confirmation or approval yet.
Is it possible they are all on Spring break and we won’t hear back until April 2nd?

Has anyone here received an email notification or confirmation after registering their child?

Everything first has to be approved by the student's HS counselor.

Even health? I signed up my DC for Health A and B for session 1 and 2 respectively. No other subjects.

At least last year (when there was no payment) they would not confirm if your child was in the course until 24-48 hours before the first session. Apparently it is because they need to see how many teachers are available. I’m not sure if they will give more notice if you are supposed to pay but I’d expect it to be a relatively lengthy wait to find out.

Last year we got the counselor's approval a few weeks after registration, but the confirmation with the class and teacher info didn't come until June.
